Back again at your local Starbucks the 2018 Refill Tumbler for for a 16oz refill for $40.

Works out to $1.29 per refill.

Sold out earlier years but also went on clearance in Dec in previous years. So you decide if worth the wait.

Last year I waited and everyone was sold out. Ended up buying the cup for $42.50 on eBay. Ended up getting about 50 refills during January. Already bought mine for this year.

They did an espresso drink tumbler one year but never did it again. I think it was too good of a deal and ended up costing Starbucks money...

Didn't work last year. All local stores, including target locations, sold out. There's a reason this thing doubled in price versus a few years ago. Highly desirable product.

the deal is in getting the tumbler before it goes OOS. considering a 16oz Grande is $2.50 in most areas, you are no worse off if you use it 15x in January. Anything over 15x in most areas is savings if you have it to use.

Plus in past years, if still in stock, it became $20 after the 15th so still $1.29 per refill.

I used it each weekday morning last year. Every now and then I stopped by while grocery shopping and would usually talk them into some other drinks. It's good on tea too so that worked sometimes.

I also remember t being $35ish last year.

I've got way too many Starbucks and DD freebies to partake in this this year—plus I splurged and bought a magnifica at Sam's last year so my morning coffee/espresso requirements have been well satisfied...

Bought on 11/27, earned 140 points for it, which I suppose got me a little closer to gold next year. Anyone ever return and rebuy on the 16th to get the price drop? It is Starbucks, so it is a little weird I know.

Do all Starbucks locations offer free refills? Including grocery stores?

Starbucks inside Grocery Stores are usually franchised locations. If they accept the Starbucks card at that location, then they probably participate. If they accept a grocery store gift card as payment, then they probably don't.
