It's the time of year to stock up on ball pit balls! Prices haven't been this low since June.

Walmart [walmart.com] has Fisher-Price 100 ct Ball Pit Balls for $9.97. Similar to a front page deal in June. Free shipping with a $35 order, or free in store pickup.

Amazon [amazon.com]has Little Tikes Ball 100 Ct. Ball Pit Balls for $10. Free Prime Shipping.

Lesser quality balls of comparative price:

Amazon [amazon.com] has 150 ct Playhut Ball Pit Balls for $14.99. Free Prime Shipping.

Walmart [walmart.com]also has Kiddy Up 100 ct Pit Balls for $8. Please keep in mind, these are extremely soft and crush easily if the kids are remotely rough with them. That's why I'm listing them last, even though they're a better price per ball. Free shipping with a $35 order, or free in store pickup.

Amazon's description for the Little Tikes 100 pack says it's 12" x 12" x 15.5", so a little over 1 cubic foot.
A Graco Pack n Play is about 3.5' x 2.5', so the area is about 8.75 square feet.
Assuming that's all correct, it will take about 1800 balls to completely fill the Pack N Play. To fill it halfway you'll need 900.
If you just want balls five inches deep, 300 should do it.

Just buy the 500 pack for $30, same cost as buying the 100x3, and you always need more balls than you think.

Got 2 of the 500 packs linked above. Shipping is free, and you get a $10 discount if you choose slow shipping, which for me means it arrives on the 11th, well before Christmas. 1000 of them for $53.
