Back in stock for $100 or less if anyone has Freecash and/or giftcards to burn like myself, only had a measly $10 off $75. These were $150 during Black FridayI saw multiple sets in-store, now that it dropped to $100 I grabbed the last one, nice heavy set almost threw out my back carrying it to the car EEK!. They were $160 in-store but I asked for a pricematch.

Very tempting to add to my Christmas list. I was looking at the harbor freight ones but this is a complete set with everything you could ever need (short/deep and metric/standard). I have listed a couple of other comparable sets below for those looking around:

Home Depot has a similar Husky set for $199 [homedepot.com]

Home Depot has a similar Dewalt set for $165 [homedepot.com]

Lowe's has a similar Kobalt set for $149.97 [lowes.com]

Amazon has a similar GearWrench set for $99 [amazon.com] Edit: this is only Metric and SAE is not included.

Something similair at Harbor Freight would be:
$32 Deep Metric [harborfreight.com] + $32 Deep SAE [harborfreight.com] + $25 Metric [harborfreight.com] + $25 SAE [harborfreight.com] = $114 with no case.

Had my eye on an impact socket set and this seems solid with a 5 star review from the various users. Had $12 in points so my total narrowed down to $87.60. Good looking out OP!

I'm not a wrench monkey so I don't need these, but it's such a great deal on a top-rated product.....(to self, resist, resist, resist....)

Great price! I bought this set on sale last year for $139 I believe. I don't use 1/2 impacts that often but it does have a bunch of 5 star reviews and seems to be a well rounded set!

I have gotten the past deep well sets on deals for $12-15, so if anybody wants to go in on me with this, I'll keep the shallows!

Very nice list!

Looks like that $199 Husky set is the most complete out of the bunch, the Gearwrench set you listed is almost complete but metric only, I think all these sets including the Craftsman are made in China now, I was slightly disappointed when I got home and saw Made in China on the box, seeing as some of the reviews say they got a USA set. The Kobalt set looks exactly like this Craftsman set but with additional adaptors/extensions. Another good value brand to look for is Tekton, very well priced and made in Taiwan, I recently read-up on their tools when I saw the slickdeal on their torque wrench.

Thanks, nice catch on the Gearwrench set, I thought the price looked a little low.

Tekton has a similar Impact socket (Metric and SAE) set for $82 [amazon.com] but it is made from chrome vanadium steel (Cr-V) instead of the preferred Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel (CR-MO). Feel free to google the differences, It shouldn't really make a difference but cheaper brands tend to go CR-V instead of CR-Mo. (Link [garagejournal.com])

Guess I'll use my points from the 260 piece socket set at Kmart, even though the other half don't show up until the 1st... This might not stay that low for another two days.

Almost pulled trigger on this. But on a second thought, I rarely use any SAE tools. So overall the GearWrench is much better. I am wondering in which profession people still see a lot of inch/sae fasteners? Thanks.

I won't make a separate deal thread for these because they're in-store ymmv only, but my local Sears has both the Craftsman 2-ton aluminum jack and the Craftsman Pro 1500 lb atv/motorcycle lift/stand for $100 each, they're both $160+ online. Reviews for the 2-ton jack are kinda cruddy but the atv/motorcycle lift has stellar reviews, Harbor Freight has an identical one for $170 also with great reviews.
