This is the same price Staples had on this monitor just a few days ago, but without the possible $25 extra savings from Visa Checkout. Still a very good price for a great 1920 x 1200 IPS monitor.

The product listing states "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com exclusively for Prime members."

This is a Great-Deal.

But keep in mind.. that this is NOT a normal Ultrasharp Panel with native 8 bit.

This panel is a cost cut model, utilizing 6bit+Frc processing to mimic 8-bit..

//Still a good deal.. but it will always have some banding/contrast inaccuracy due to its hardware limitations..

This monitor is my daily driver at work. My only complaint is that it lacks an HDMI input, but is otherwise a great quality monitor. No bleed, balanced colors, etc.

This monitor is kind of old. I got mine in 2012, still great mointor, but there are at least 2 newer models.

The Dell Ultrasharp monitors present many good examples for the argument that newer models are not always better. Among all the various models, there are several that were newer but were significantly inferior to the prior model.

It is tough to find x1200 monitors, my old 1600x1200 monitor I use on another system just died recently, stepping down to x1080 kind of sucks, are there any better deals on any other x1200 monitors out there? Was hoping to find something sub-$100 if at all possible.

Also, not sure what the complaints are about no HDMI on this one, it has DP, which is better. Looks like the height is adjustable a bit, too.

Can you explain the differences with the newer models? I'm using an older model (S2316M) and it's the best LED monitor I've used since trying to upgrade to LED from my 10 year old LCD screen. Every single LED screen out there had blurry text or things just didn't look clear enough compared to my old LCD screen.

Would this monitor with the 8ms response time be a good monitor for gaming? Thanks

I have one of these and could use a second. The extra screen space is a huge deal

Agreed. Was going to get one but it's not even LED.

Beside the ugly bezel and stand comparing to the newer 2015 or 2017 models (subjectively). This monitor is one of the best you can get at the time and still a dam good monitor today. 16:10 also helps!
