This looks very similar to the white 32" IPS 1080p AOC monitor that was $125 a week ago. I wonder if LG made that panel as well.

True, but with the pro versions of consoles lately, you'd be missing out.
Also, I think any 1440p or 4k monitor upscales. So your also missing out on that.

That's true but I've actually seen a lot of people say the higher resolution monitors are down scaling and looking bad on the ps4. (I refuse to buy incremental console upgrades)

Upscaling is a horrible practice and something that should be avoided. Using math to calculate how to add image that isn't there in the source will never be a good option. And, upscaling will never increase image quality. If you want 4k gaming, buy a real 4k system and connect it to a real 4k tv/monitor.

It's 5ms response time if anyone cares. Would this be a good gaming monitor for an older pc? I currently have a 7 year old 24" Asus with 2ms response time. Would the 5ms response time be noticeable?
