Can anyone comment about the cable specs? I'd use this on a power strip, and the typical things you can safely put on a power strip. 125V seems waaay higher than any of my electronics. 13A seems good, but I'm not near my desktop so I can't really tell.

EDIT: Looks like this should work well for any computer electronics. Amps = Watts / Voltage = 13A = 1560W / 120V. 1560W is probably 2-3 my computer. Be sure to keep a single device on each cable, and don't chain them.

Bought these in a previous deal, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...TF8&psc=1, and have used them for just about everything. Desktop PC's, XBone, monitors, you name it. Hasn't given me an issue yet.

I'm in for another 5. Thanks op

Thanks, just bought some. I was just thinking about these the other day and was thinking they would be cheap from some place like mono price or some one online retailer but they were way more than I thought they would be.

Edit: Actually just checked and they are $1.18 each at MP for a 16ga wire (thicker). I guess the price wasn't as bad as I thought but shipping from there usually kills the deal.

I am going off the title and description, which both say 16. Honestly, 18 would be enough for what I need them for, but you would easily be able to return if you wanted 16 and received 18 due to listing errors.

I always wonder how trend to plug a huge transformer into the socket vs a small cord got started. This drives me absolutely crazy...

i already clicked on the buy it now, but then went back and noticed that they actually change the image to show "18ga" when you select the 5 pack, versus the listing title, all the text, and the original image that comes up showing "16ga".

I think this is a clear case of bait-and-switch. The seller may try to say some BS like "oh we showed an image"... Yeah, right... meaning you switch the image after the fact...I'll wait and see, but if these are 18ga and unacceptable, I'm opening a case... Too may frauds on ebay these days and i'm getting tired of dealing with it (3x in the last few months)....

BTW - Micro Center used to sell these all the time (5 for $5 or less). The ones on Amazon and most on ebay are a rip off IMO.

1 of the pics show 16 AWG and 2 of the pics show 18 AWG but the title and the description say 16 AWG, so I think we are "safe" to get 16 AWG. Please
