In for one. The reviews say it's a really good router that is compatible with 2.4 and 5. Covers a lot if area, 10,000ft. If it is that good, for this price, I'll know soon enough

I have a new TP link router, but it is a different model, it works really well. I have a Veizon router in my basement and the TP link doubled my speed on the first floor of my colonial. I am wondering if I were to buy another TP link extender, if I could link the two extenders together. Is this possible because I want another one for my second floor?

It's a range extender not a router.

Also, the 5G part of my Verizon router is, of course the fastest, but you have to be very close to the signal to use it, this is the main reason I purchased one for my stationary devices. The less powerful signal on my verizon router is used for the mobile tablets.

Does anyone know if this requires a 3 prong outlet or if it just has 2 prongs?

You can but they cannot have the same SSID and name so when you travel between levels, you will need to manually disconnect/connect to the strongest signal. Your speed degradation will also be pretty severe as the first extender typically cuts things in half. It's not always possible but the best setup would be putting your router in the middle and then branching the signal out via extenders.

Yeah, I didn't word that part correctly, I was aware of what I got. Don't want to mislead anyone reading it though. Thanks for clarifying that

Given the price, im assuming this is a no brainer even if its overkill for my needs? Seems like id end up spendingjust a bit less for something not nearly as good.

There is no tax from B&H. Ordered 2. Let's see how well they work.
