Thinking to make a small home studio, is it good for home use?

Wtf this is a good deal, wonder if I can get 70% back for used 2i2. Btw "FireWire" probably means this is at least 3+ year old equipment. But I don't think a lot has changed since then, audio quality is still the same.

Great deal, but be careful to get the right Texas instrument chip-set with your Firewire card if using PC.

I don't know anything about the audio part, but FireWire is an older connection that never really took off like USB so you may have trouble finding a way to connect it to anything, especially if that 'anything' is a Mac. Your best option is a Thunderbolt -> Firewire connector, which I believe I saw at apple for like $30, but that's not going to work for the latest MacBook Pro since it's only USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 now. I am not sure what adapters are available out there for USB-C/Thunderbolt 3.

This is Firewire 400. You'll probably get latency if you use plugins while performing.
