Good deal. Just wanted to add that this is the non-smart model.

Do you know what's the difference is between the two? Is it just one has the an app or is it actually better?

don't forget the added cost to maintain this thing. You will need to buy filters for it.

They are normally $500, so its actually half of the price of what it should be...

Not very effective at removing dust, smoke, and pollen, even at its highest and most effective speed.

The replacement filter is $70 and is supposed to be replaced every year. This is reported to be able to run without the filter if you want without any nagging from the device.

Haha. It would be FP material every single time if that were the case...

How long do you need to replace filter on average in clean city? These things are like $70/each so if it's once a year it's not that bad.

Just a FYI. Some companies actually sell their items normally at MSRP. Apple, Dyson, All-Clad, Yeti, Herman-Miller, ect. Using an example of companies with ridiculously inflated MSRP like Invicta is pretty dumb and has nothing to do with this deal.

This is not just a % off MSRP, it is % off normal price.

so you actually believe a piece of plastic with a fan and a filter inside is worth $500, yes?

Depends how humid it is. If it is a very dry climate you can likely wait longer. You'll still see reduced efficiency/high noise however as the filter gets clogged. In a more humid environment the filter itself could have mold growth which could make you less-healthy/sick.

The general rule with filters is to replace them often. Problem is at $70-100/each that's not going to happen, unless you're pretty wealthy. I'd argue it is this product's biggest flaw even at "half price."

My $20 box fan + HEPA filter setup works just as good.
