So $420..then after the 24 months? What then? Do another lease or you have to pay for what the remainder of the full price is?
What? Verizon doesn't do leases. After 24 months you own it.

It should be paid off after all of the payments are made. The only question is if it's monthly bill credits but most likely should be discount provided by Best Buy and if so then after 15 days I believe you should be able to pay device in full instead stretching it over 24months (retaining the discounted price as total balance).

You don't actually have to wait 15 days at all, you can go in store to pay off or by phone dialing *3, but I think you need to at least wait overnight for the system to register the dpp.

No bill credits woohooo..this is the first one I see without bill credits, as expected from BB, having said that this maybe a mistake...but in any case still a bit too much with tax on original $720, but you can pay down dpp with a BB gc

TU just to counter the td

Best buy recently had the s8 for 15.41 a month, but I assume that included bill credits? I don't remember, I didn't think it did. This is obviously a better deal if, indeed, the other deal involved bill credits.

edit: I just checked, the last deal 2 weeks ago also did not involve bill credits, and all total it was 50 bucks cheaper than this deal.

After 24 months (or as soon as you pay it off) the phone is yours, you own it outright

Guys, Best Buy usually gives a straight discount without bill credits. When I got my S7 Edge this summer, it was $9.99 a month without bill credits because they discounted the phone's price. Verizon sees Best Buy's discount as a down payment. My guess, Samsung is subsidizing Best Buy's discount because you never see these deals on other brands.

Are you locked into a contract with Verizon for 24 months if you do this, however? I'm month-to-month with them at the moment, and just want to buy the bloody thing unlocked so that I can leave at any time.

No once you pay it off you are free to leave and go to another carrier.
