I know you're just being an obnoxious troll, but it used to be a dumpster fire. Now it's probably one of the hottest places to live if you can get into the right areas... but just like every major city, there are nice neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods. Have you ever actually been to downtown Detroit or are you just making assumptions based on other people's jokes? It's quite the nice place to go now.

Thanks for the deal, and take a hike with the Detroit hate. It's been one of the easiest targets for TV shows and that and there are people that think it's a true reflection of current Detroit.

I moved out of MI when I graduated college (height of the economic downturn which was poor timing for graduation). We just recently moved back and it's pretty amazing to see how downtown is being transformed. There are definitely some rough areas, but it's mainly just abandoned homes issues. I have never felt unsafe in Detroit, although I am sure like any major city in the world you could find trouble if you tried.

prices are now up to $240, and sprint is cheaper for a non stop @ $215, so based on my search, this deal is expired. Thanks so much though.
