I will give my , completely opposite, review of these. I think these are some of the worst headphones I have every had. They do not reflect normal Sennheiser quality. The earcups are huge. I love that about it. The problem is that they generally do not sit flush against the head which causes all sort of leakage. This means that the bass is almost non-existant (even for Sennheisers) and it bleeds through the gap at the bottom.

I absolutely hate what I spent on these and they have been sitting in a drawer. I forced myself to use them for a whole month and just... awful.

This model is actually the closed acoustic. The G4ME ONE's are the open acoustic model.

I have these and they are awesome! The mic is an amazing but the sound quality is as you would expect with Sennheiser. It also made a huge difference buying a decent sound card as opposed to just plugging straight into your motherboard.

For anyone hoping to use these w/ the PS4/Xbox... you'll almost certainly want to use an amp. (You'll also need the $10 adapter to bring it from two plugs to one) Quality is great, but controllers just don't have the oomph to power these v. well.

Yeah sound quality sucks on console if you're not gonna use an amp for sound

Great sounding headset with probably the best boom mic out there. The one I had was defective (audio would cut out of one ear when the mic cable was connected) so I returned and tried the Sennheiser GSP 300's [amazon.com] at $79. I actually like them better.

Downsides to the GSP 300's - mic volume is slightly quieter and it can't be bent closer/further from your mouth (still can swivel out of place with auto mute). Earcups don't fold for easier transport. No travel case included. Cable is rubber rather than braided. Kind of ugly with its "gamer" style.

However, the GSP 300's sound just as good to me and have much better noise isolation. The mic is just as clear, just doesn't pick up at quite as high of volume level (still good). For me they are better and even at the ZERO's current discount, $41 cheaper. Worth considering if you don't mind the looks.

Have them and love them. Been using the built in sound card but now considering getting a better one.

Being a sound nerd I can tell you from experience that most customers using this headset will likely not use a proper amp to drive them.. This is a high impedance headset, 50 Ohm.. They will sound terrible if you plug them into your phone/laptop/desktop mobo... You need an amp

I guess maybe it depends on the person? It feels flush to me.

$10 seems too high for that type of adapter. Recently bought a 2 pack for $7. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01I7SS3EQ/

My bad. Wrong cable type was pointed out to me by bijindi. Quick search found a 3 pack for $8. https://www.amazon.com/Splitter-C...07544VJX6/

Not sure how these compare to the PC 360 SE ($130) but I have the 360's and they're great.
