The 55 incher of same model is $100 cheaper at $399, if you don't mind 5 inches smaller...

I would like to see this super sexy Hisense HDR come down to $500...

That's a nice TV! I wonder how that compares to the Sony x900e, not that I'm looking for a tv

When you start going beyond 50 inches, single inch increases start adding a lot of screen real estate. The jump from 50 to 60 is cheap, 60 to 70 not as much, 70 to 80 forget about it. A 60 inch tv is 20% larger in area than a 55 inch. There isn't really a savings, its all close to proportional. Still a good option for those who don't have $500.

Seems like a good deal. Every time I see Hisense it reminds me of changhong for some reason, haven't seen any deals from them in some time.

How does that model compare to my 50H8C hisense? I'm thinking of upgrading

I absolutely love mine also. I bought a 65"TCL TV from target last week and I'm not too happy with it. I'm thinking of returning it and buying this one

I picked up the TCL 65 on Wednesday but still in the box but the display model looked ok. Why not happy?

I'm not sure but after using mine for the past year I can tell u it's a pretty decent tv especially for size and price. I use this in my bed rm and have a higher end 65 in living room. If that helps
