You can hire someone to unlock iphone on ebay for $30 before you activate the phone. This is boost mobile. Virgin mobile is similar?

First they lowered the prices early November and then raised them again before the BF deals.
During the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend they then had a deal where you get a $200 Visa Prepaid card which wasn't so hot since you got taxed for that extra $200 on top of the regular price. It's a year long commitment since they can only be unlocked with 12 months of service. Smart business strategy since those who missed out on the $200 might jump on this and the deal is only good for one week. Not a smart deal for the consumer. The pre-owned phones are attractively priced but there is a 90 day warranty that can't be extended and these phones are not certified. I've read stories where the phone came in bad condition or the battery wouldn't hold a charge for long.

Instead of unlocking the device, why don't you trade it in directly?

Virgin mobile has been trying to scam people into this deal by manipulating the prices up and down like a true saleman. They use trickery.

Nice. Good thing I'm not dumb enough to fall for it though. I pay a little over 20 for unlimited talk text and web over at twigby (let me know if you want 2 months for free on that)....and being as the unlock period is a year.....they'd be making whatever they they saved me with that 1$ service back and then some in that final overpriced 6 months....
And the phone + gift card is not a deal at all.....can get them on eBay for the same price or less including the gift card value.

Hi,
where di you find the unlock policy from? On the Virgin mobile website, everywhere it says 14 days without mentioning anything about domestic/international. Would you be able to help me with where their website says 12 months for domestic use?

It's only 14 days if you pay full MSRP for the phone (which you are not doing here).

Can you bring your own unlocked phone and signup for $1 /month for 6 months and then cancel after 6 months?

Their preown phone condition is really hit or miss.

I had got two iPhone 6s preown:
One had a lot of minor scratch on the screen but rest of body is good

The other one had perfect screen but the body had nicks and corner dents.

Battery capacity on them were around 75%.

That's the thing man. This year I didn't see the same trade in deals from last year. I remember there was a free iphone 7 upgrade with trade in at T-mobile last year. Trading in an iphone 7 for a few hundred bucks on a regular retail priced iphone or galaxy s8/note still comes up to over $500 -$700. If you can get me an iphone 8 under $400 please message me lol.

I think one has to pay full MSRP here. The deal is "buy an iPhone at full price, be inner circle member for 14 days after activation to receive Amazon GC. After 2 months of inner circle fr $50, u can get inner circle for $1pm"

Correct me if I am wrong. But I think the domestic unlock policy of 12 months won't apply here and it will still be 14 days only.
