I'm all in for a camera this cheap. And I know Xiaomi is quite reputable company. But personally I wouldn't buy a camera that can be access via the internet go through Chinese servers. If you don't worry about this, then it's a steal at this price.

It records 720p video at 20fps and also sends real time alerts to your phone like many other smart home cameras.

I would avoid an Yi camera products as the mobile app is not very robust. If you travel and you change phone frequently, you'll know.

I own 3 of these cameras. Very happy with the quality and ease of use. At this price, I am purchasing 2 more, even though I don't need them right now lol.

I think the Chinese server argument is overblown. Xi Home app is great & intuitive unlike hackneyed github for fang (as one example). I have 4 of these. Just turn them off when you're home during day if it's a concern.

Deal dead btw.

Can you elaborate on the issue with frequent phone change? I've never had a problem with their apps but I couldn't say the same about the app for the Wyze cam that I bought a month ago.
