Refurb desktops are really no big deal unlike laptopa

I got this exact machine Dell outlet at $663 last month (plus $100 Amex offer).

They should all be manufactured around July 2017. Not a scratch on mine. The case isn't huge but fits what you need.

It's working well. The RX480 is reference with 3 displayport and 1 HDMI.....it does run kind of hot at 1350/2250. I did end up selling 8GB of RAM to someone else to get $65 back.

PSU is replaceable by standard ATX PSU. Although there was only a bit of room to shove cables...I put them all in the 3rd HDD slot. Probably a modular PSU would be better.

Edit: I might add since this is a reference RX480...it has a 6 pin and not an 8 pin. AMD fixed that issue a while back. Whether it affects the overclock or not I am not sure. TBH I am mildly disappointed in 1350 core on an RX 480 but Polaris is allegedly memory limited anyway.

There's also an M.2 slot available for a SSD.

I bought pretty much this exact same model and specs on black Friday. Also a refurbished one but from Dell so it came with a warranty. I paid 730ish after tax and shipping. Comes in today though, so I'll see how clean everything is..... Anyways this is a pretty solid deal.

Great deal! In for one!

Time to upgrade my 12 year old XPS that is barely running Windows 10 32-bit. No more upgrades for it. RIP.

I've seen similar refurbished towers with rx580 and 512 gb ssd +1 TB HDDs go for 600 in the past month, all be it with slightly worse processors. If you have time it's worth waiting for a better deal

Is this deal better than the hp omen desktop + vr deal from bestbuy? My total came to be 727 for the hp omen bundle and can sell the mixed reality for $200 = $527. 8 gb more of ram would be $100 + 8 gb video card would be $100 more and upgrading to i7 7700 would be $120 more + $80 for 256gb = 930.

If someone could help me that would be great!
