anyone know why they have different sizes, since you have to cut them to length anyways?

Appears has to be one of the 50" belts sold by Vbiger. Then right above the size selection, there is a promo drop down that you can click "Redeem". Not sure where the code came from. Looking at one of the pictures, it appears you may be able to cut the belt to length, although I'm purely guessing

not sure if it matters, but ordering the largest one and cutting it down to gain the best deal is logical.. even though it wastes... unless you use the other spare cutoff end as a 50 shades tool?

Would a 41 work for someone who is 34 waist? I don't see anything smaller than that.

I don't think the ridged part that connects to the belt runs the whole length of it, so if you buy something too big and try to cut it out, the ridges may not line up. That's what I am thinking based on the pictures.

I have a Zegna belt that has the same ridges. I believe the belt width is the same as these so I'm ordering one.

The buckle on these look nice in the picture but I'm going to replace them with my Zegna buckle. The locking mechanism is really awesome. However on my Zegna, the mechanism is different than these. There is no latch to release the belt. You just tilt the buckle out to release. I guess they can't copy that mechanism but the one here will do just fine.

If the belt itself is decent quality, I'd say it's well worth the $7 you pay.

I'm considering getting one more.

BTW, the code is single use but applies to multiple belts in 1 order so if you want to order multiples, do it in one order.

Also, don't worry about the belt being 50". You can trim it to size. The ridges are at the far end of the belt so you simply trim the other end to size.

I have 2 of these now. Absolutely love them. No intentions of going back to the old style.

The size chart suggests a size they don't sell. Too bad!

These belts can be cut to size. And you cut from the side that is connected to the buckle, not the end you normally insert into the buckle as that would destroy the ridges on the back side.

I got one of these on a previous SD post. I like it. Very good quality, esp for this price. One thing to note, the buckle is heavy and fairly large.
