I have not done this bundle either but based off of how it is structured I would guess they would all be individual keys

Been using humble bundle for years now its Awesome! You get a activation key, usually for Steam or Origin depending on the key and bundle. By far the best place to buy games and support a charity at the same time!

You need the words humble bundle in your title and post. When I search for the word humble I don't see this post. Help others find deals by including lots more details in your titles and deal posts.

I agree. Humble Bundle always needs to be in the headline. I understand why the OP didn't list the included games because it changes each day, but a caring OP will update the OP when new games are added so people don't have to click on the link. If I had seen this bundle, I would not have posted it solely because it's too hard to judge if the 28 mystery games will be worth $35.

In fact, if the price is going to sit at $35 rather than increase each day (as a sort of punishment for not buying early), then why would anyone buy this bundle until the majority of games are revealed?

So far I see nothing I want or don't already have. For all I know after the 25 days all 28 games could be the same-old stuff HB keeps re-bundling. That's why I won't subscribe to the Humble monthly bundle nor will I blind buy a bundle in hopes they might have something I want. My process is simple: I make a list of all the games in the bundle, see which ones I don't have, evaluate if they look worthwhile (it usually takes 3-10 seconds of gameplay video for me to judge), if it passes gameplay I check controller support and the comments, and if that looks good I mark it as something I want. Then I take the price of the bundle and divide it by the number of games I want. If the price is < $1 per game I want, I usually buy it. If it's more, then there have to be special games in it.

Normally they have a few games with limited numbers to entice early purchasing. I disagree with that because everyone pays $35 but some people would get less than others. I don't see that on this deal but who knows until they start revealing the games.

I also hate giving anyone money without knowing what I'm getting. This is becoming a disturbing trend and the fact others are ok with it upsets me. Most of the time I ignore these deals on principle to vote with my wallet.

^^^ Thanks, Isobar, for posting that. Unfortunately we can't conclude that we'll get any of the same or same caliber games this time. I'm sure there will be some repeats, though, because if one thing I've learned is that HB loves to repeat stuff in bundles. I'm sure that's because they bought too many keys from prior bundles and the only way to get rid of them is to chuck them in other bundles, but the fact they have leftover keys ought to tell them the game is probably not as good as it could be and people are less likely to want it.

Yes, we agree on the not paying up front for getting unknown stuff. It bothers me in the same way most medical providers can't/won't tell you how much an office visit or some procedure you need done will cost you until after it is already done and the insurance responds a few weeks later. I'd love to be a car salesman and have a racket like that... "hey, I'll sell you this car here, there are no refunds, and I won't tell you the price that I will force you to pay (or force you into collections or put you in jail) until 3 weeks later after it's too late to return". That's basically the US health care system, and Humble Bundle is doing this same thing with mystery bundles on a tiny scale.

Clearly HB wants to cater to the Steam newbies rather than the Steam veterans with large libraries who are getting sick of repeats and shovelware (though HB is less guilty of throwing in shovelware than IndieGala who is now the shovelware garbage king). Fanatical (BS) seems to do only a few bundles per month now. At least their bundles are better than IG shovelware. I really shouldn't care about any of this because I have enough unplayed good games to last me multiple lifetimes (which I don't have). As I've said many times, if I had any brains (which I don't) I would not buy any more games or even look at these threads.

Humble Bundle is a decent site and I like that they sent a lot of their earnings to charity. I didn't get this bundle this year or last year, but I do get their monthly. Regardless, you can always resell the keys later and get your money back.
