Seems like a good deal, but the new version was on sale for $70 during Bestbuys early BF sale and the actual BF sale. Personally, I'd be willing to pay an extra $10 for the "extended" 1 year warranty, and an extra $10 for it being new. And staying true to my words, I bought the 4-tuner version for $100.

Show a little pride in your product and give it a one year warranty.

This company is a lackluster for support.

All they do is ship this over to USA and have a so-called fourm where you post your questions for assistance.

AVOID

Good luck with that 4 tuner version, as it is plaqued with issues.

They are constantly releasing beta software to try and fix the ongoing tuner issue.

They do also provide support through email. You can submit new tickets from their support web site here:

I had to open a ticket with them once for an issue and were helpful.

Picked up 2 during recent limited stock refurbs. One for OTA and one for clear QAM.

Best $100 I spent. Have access to both on all my tablets, phones and computers in the house.

Should be OOS within 30 mins so act fast.

Mine has been nothing but trouble with Plex, but just fine it using their own app on a laptop or mobile device. So seems like the product itself is good, but be ready for a headache if you're using this as a DVR with Plex pass.

Plex, the software that has a forum full of bug reports and constant problems?

Currently using PLEX Pass with HDHomerun Prime for past 4 yrs and do not have any issues with recording on a Windows 10-64-bit computer (2 of 4 yrs) running Plex Media Server. I can't vouch for any standalone media servers or anything else. I am also using a managed router with configured VLANs, which did cause issues talking to Plex and devices upstairs and vs downstairs at first, but I resolved that it was a config issue on my side. Currently running Plex 1.10.0.425 with no issues. I'd recommend a clean install to be sure it's nothing weird.
