For the money this is an excellent PC, if I hadn't just bought the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro, I would be considering this one.

Only one word of advice, the weight of this laptop is not 2.2 lb., it's 4.4 lb., based on the Asus web site. There's no way a 15.6" laptop will weigh 2.2 lb.

EDIT I just noticed it has a 1366 x 768 display, I was under the impression that it's 1080p after looking at the Asus website. This is not an excellent deal but it's not bad either.

Purchased a similar model X540SA for a parent a couple of months ago for $199.99. Same specs, same keyboard. The wifi would lose signal every so often. The hard drive is slow (5400rpm). I ended up upgrading the RAM and SSD as I had spare parts. Found out it was tough to upgrade - there are no separate panels under the laptop to access individual parts. You have to remove all the screws under the laptop and use a spudger to separate the top (keyboard/mousepad) and bottom layers. The cable to connect the keyboard is very short and thin and have to watch out that it doesn't snap or come apart at the joint. You have to remove the motherboard to get under to install the RAM. The power button looks just like a regular keyboard button next to the number pad and can be easily pressed or mistaken for a different key. I had to change the configuration of what pressing the power button did (ie shut down) so that pressing it by mistake would not shut it off. The trackpad was uncomfortable and flimsy (plastic). I ended up installing windows 7 back on it as parent was familiar with that OS. It was tricky finding Win 7 drivers for the laptop to make it all work. Did not find one for the trackpad so I hooked up a usb mouse to it. Tl:dr, I got what I paid for. I'd recommend another laptop than this.
edit: with win 7 installed and ssd upgraded, wifi is stable)
