Removes minimum 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria, 99.9% of waterborne protozoan parasites, and filters to 0.2 microns; surpasses EPA filter standards

I know people that use this regularly as they do insane hiking miles.

BS. The real Grylls drinks his own urine fresh out of the tap.

LifeStraw filters up to 264 gallons. The Sawyer can go for 100,000. Plus the Sawyer can be used in more ways than the lifestraw.

These are garbage and do nothing about germs bacteria etc! If you want healthy water that won't effect your health. Just first boil the water then let it cool and then drink

Id pay someone handsomely to drink porta potty water at this weekends tailgate party or at the local jobsite - a youtube video is sufficient

Im not a fan of writing bad reviews, BUT... as for someone who has over 5000 backcountry miles including a thru hike of the A.T, and some of the pct and cdt............ this is worthless. maybe put the Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter on price alert or something. 15$ for this is mufff cabbage imo.

Would you mind elaborating as you why this didn't work for you? I'm interested in this for disaster preparedness.

I was going to say the same thing, except I never would have come up with "muff cabbage" ROFL!

Get a Squeeze and recycle a Smart water bottle. Much better!!

oh..and *shakes head in disbelief at Deal2Go*

Agreed. This piece of meme gear is beaten out by so many others, people just like it bc it's the one with the most publicity

I feel having this would be better than nothing and I know Bolling is the best way to go but if you can't get a fire going.
