Cans of Nice! black olives are 2/$2 with in-ad coupon. I had a $3 RR to spend and wanted to buy 3. I got to the store and they are on clearance for $0.98 each. I had to go to the cashier and explain that yes, I really want you to charge me more -- the advertised price because I want to use my $3 RR and $2.97 for 3 isn't going to cut it. Smilie Cashier happily price modified with a smile. I love my wags store.

I have the 10.00 JC to use this week. If I want to spend points, how will it work?
Spend 60.00 worth to use 40,000 points?

I also have a Jingle Cash question.

If I purchase $40 worth of merchandise and use the $10JC from last week, will the $30 left generate $5JC to use next week?

Alert, spending points reduces jingle cash. I spent $102 before tax, $110 after tax. Had $4 in mq and $5 in jingle cash. Used $50 in points. Only earned $10 jingle cash. Was expecting $20.

ETA: I don't know what dropped me below the threshold. It could have been using points or mq or using jingle cash.

But I'm annoyed because I made an impulse purchase just to get over $100. If I return an item will that void jingle cash I earned?

Was it $102 after using JC?
Last week I used $35 in points on a $64.90 order and got a $10 JC.

Total before coupons was $102 plus $8 tax = $110. Coupons included $4 mq, $5 jc, $50 points = $51.

Store manager said the problem was spending points.

Last week I had a $53 order, paid $50 in points and got a $10 JC. Points is a form of tender, not a coupon, and should not affect earning of JC. With that said, we have your report which I have no explanation for ... unless they've changed the rules and spending a JC will now inhibit the earning of a new JC. (It didn't work like that any year previous that I remember.)

Last week I had an order that was over $50. Used 40,000 points and paid about $6 OOP. I received the $10 JC. I don't think points was the problem. I think it was the $5 JC that took you below the $100. JC is similar to other Walgreens coupons that don't count towards total.

the problem was spending the JC
in my trans tonight I had exactly $30 and used my $5/30, i did not earn any JC
that is consistent with the issue you had tonight, where $102 - $5 JC dropped you below the $100 threshold for earning the $20 cert

ALSO, the employee documentation for JC gives an example where you spend $10 JC on a $30 trans in store and still earn the $5 JC....

it did not work that way for me tonight

Jingle cash is considered as an IVC.

There's the whole problem.
