I got one of these a year ago and it's my favorite watch. Very light and durable. Nice enough to wear anywhere but it isn't too flashy to wear to work.

This is my favorite watch and wore this watch last night. I got this watch from amazon last February for $150. It's a great watch for work/personal.

For quartz watch, I always prefer the ones with more complicated features for casual use. For dress watch, I always pick auto ones.

Sapphire crystal is key. My mom's watch with regular crystal is completely scratched, but my sapphire crystal is pristine.

CCC confirms his $150 price although that's the only time it has gone that low. ~$170 might be a better goal to shoot for, if you aren't in a hurry.

I like it but they have a few nice others. I'm a fan of the Axiom.

I bought this watch a couple years ago. It was beautiful at first, but the Seiko SKX007 blows it out the water for the price.

Citizen and Seiko have too many darn watches.

Is this the best Citizen/Seiko sub $200 watch? Looking for a gift for father's day.

Thanks

I have many variations of this Citizen watch:

1. The sapphire that Citizen uses is too reflective. You will see yourself when trying to read the time. While it won't scratch because it's sapphire, the titanium will scratch very easily.
2. The design of this particular watch is a little old, like from the 1990s. If you're buying just to resell, you won't get a lot. I would rather pay over $300 cash for a newer design. You can tell it's old by the two piece design in the watch face. Citizen learned to hide the lines in its later models.
3. The movement of this watch is an older design. It can work for 180 days without sunlight before it dies and needs to be recharged. That means it has a small lithium rechargeable battery which will only last 5 - 10 years before the watch finally dies.

So yeah, this watch isn't worth it at this price. For $50 more, you can get a newer design that will last longer.
