Available on LightInTheBox.com - https://www.lightinthebox.com/cre...=1.10.11.0

This is for the EU plug version but you have the option of requesting a US adapter. The power source itself is 220/110v switchable so no worries there. Other options are for color - Black/Yellow or Black/Blue.

This is upgraded version of the CR-10 with the dual Z-axis screw, filament sensor and open source.

There are other options for shipping but price increases dramatically. I suspect the free "postal expedited" is postal EMS as it takes about the same time as the "economy express" option.

Very good deal. Would have bought this over Tevo Tornado. Mine hasn't even been delivered.

Got the CR10 from gearbest at $340 from US warehouse but could have gotten it from chinese warehouse for $20 less so this is a great deal.

I am seriously loving the thing. Using cheap $15/kg PLA from microcenter, CURA, with a sandpapered PEI sheet and getting amazing builds for almost no effort. Still a little adjusting over time but honestly amazing to get this printer compared to the old dual extruder from monoprice for $700 a few years ago.

I think CR10s has a few small adjustments over the normal 10 but worth it at this price. Not sure on the website though

The only hiccup I can imagine is from what I've seen lightinthebox is sketchy but I haven't used it myself

I'm in -- for some reason, the blue one doesn't have free expedited shipping while the yellow one does. I was on the fence on color so just went with yellow after figuring that out.

I was really curious about the Tronyx deal but this is my first 3D printer and I think this is better for me. So excited. I've wanted one for a long time. Now I'm going to go review the other 3D printer threads with the filament recommendations.

Is the shipping anywhere close to accurate? I'm assuming it's slow shipping so maybe 2-4 weeks?

Just noticed that when ordering in the Black/Yellow/US Adapter configuration you only get 2 shipping options at checkout - one being the postal expedited (free option). The Black/Blue/US Adapter configuration lists 3 shipping options:

Express Expedited 2 - 3 business days. USD $ 172.45 (50% off)
Economy Express 4 - 7 business days. USD $ 109.62 (50% off)
Postal Expedited 4 - 8 business days. USD $ 0.00 (100% off)

This why I made the comparison of postal expedited and economy express in my initial post.

@Vert-x Ah! That explains it. You're right -- my order for the yellow one says "Expedited Postal". So same price in the end -- just remember to switch to Expedited Postal on the blue if you want free shipping.

Snagged the deal, hopefully they won't be a nightmare like I've heard about gearbest. My first 3D printer, should be fun learning with the kiddos

Thanks OP, just bought one. Great price on the CR-10s, excited about learning about 3D printing. However, based on reviews, buying from Light In The Box I feel like I'm jumping out of a plane and just hoping the parachute opens. But I read just as many bad reviews about the other importers, so fingers are crossed all works out.

The $300 deal was for the CR-10. This is the upgraded version of that printer.

Differences between the CR-10 and CR-10s:
  • Dual Z-rod and motor instead of single. (~$43 to buy the kit on Ebay
  • Filament runout detection. (~$17 value compared to buying the exact same part on Ebay)
  • Resume functionality in case of power loss during a print. (~$50 mainboard replacement, also may require new screen.)

Overall, this is a very good deal. I plan on going with a single motor, dual Z rod setup for my CR-10 (this one [thingiverse.com]) and I plan on putting my unit on a battery backup, so for me, the third upgrade isn't hugely useful either. The filament runout detection is a nice to have, but you can get that for $17 or so, or a generic one for even less. Comes down to how much you want to "upgrade" your printer yourself versus just wanting something that is pretty much top of the line out of the box.

I think that was the regular CR-10. This is for the CR-10S.

I wish I had the space to compare this to the Prusa MK3 I'm getting in a few weeks. As it stands I plan on building a VORON to replace the MK3 once I get more exposure to 3d printing.
