My brother-in-law will be at my house xmas week. We are both casual PS4 players, and looking for a local co-op (split screen) game we can enjoy for a week or so. Some type of shooter or adventure game would be ideal. Any recommendations?

thanks!

Definitely recommend Wild Guns. It's a remaster of an snes game with added options like new characters and levels, and it's a little tough, so you won't just blast through it. There's also rocket league and sports friends, both of which are more competitive but I've always had a great time when playing both with friends.

Overcooked. Fun for the whole family! Also rocketleague. Free online play for both players so long as one has ps plus

Check out co-optimus.com. There aren't many good co-op games, but I've found that site to be the most helpful and informative. There are some great ones, like the ones already mentioned, and that site will help you find any others to your liking. I spent awhile looking for couch co-op for me and my son to play, and it is my go-to source, now.

Guacamelee, Gauntlet and Diablo are pretty fun, just to add to the list.

Diablo 3 is the way to go imo, and you can play up to 4 people. You can most likely beat it in the week but you can go up in harder levels and still collect better items etc, so it has pretty good replay value. I had fun playing a cheap game called "How to survive 2" its about zombies but you have to go around and collect food, water, supplies etc and build up your shelter, so its not just a wave of zombies type of game.

Boderlands: The Handsome Collection is a good choice that will keep you busy for awhile. Diablo 3 it's also good fun.
