Worldwidestereo.com still has these subwoofers in stock after SVSound ran out of stock during their Black Friday special. T O P C A S H B A C K is offering 8% cashback at WWS making this very slick. Shipping is free.

SVS PB12-NSD 12" 400W Ported Box Subwoofer (Premium Black Ash) [worldwidestereo.com] $499 - $40 (8% T O P C A S H B A C K ) = $460

These are nearly equivalent to the SVS PB2000 that currently retail for $799 and hardly go on sale.

Nearly equivalent to the PB-2000? That's adorable, but blatantly wrong. Unless you also think that a Camry and a GS350 are nearly equivalent. At 20-25Hz they are similar in output, however it goes to about 3-4dB higher once you to the 40-63Hz range, peaking also at around 3dB higher. Which, as you should know, is a fairly substantial difference.

But, at the cost of a PB-2000, you'd also be looking at a VTF-3 MK5 (or, you should be). Which is probably the one to choose, as it achieves 6dB higher than the PB12 at 16Hz, 2dB higher at 20Hz, and 10dB higher beyond that. Meaning, it absolutely kicks its ass.

Comparing them to the SVS current lineup: closer to the PB2000 than the PB1000. "2.5db more output above 25hz and tuned slightly lower." More like 335i vs 340i.

Best and last sub you will ever buy
From the SVS product page: https://system.na1.netsuite.com/c...fc901d9cab

No. Not even close to the best. You could even buy four PB16-Ultra subs, and still not be the best.

That said, is this a good price? Every seller on Amazon has it at $500. A year ago this was $400.

Best right now at this price.

They have been recently revived by SVSound and NO they were not 400. See proof in attached.

Yes, of course paying double this price should get you a better subwoofer. But at this price, the main point of every slick deal, I fail to see any remotely better option.

$499 - $40 (8% off with t o p c a s h b a c k) is a very slick deal for a subwoofer with true 20hz extension and amazing customer service and 5yr warranty from svs.

Looks to be a "repost" - this is standard price from everyone this holiday season. Weeks ago: https://slickdeals.net/f/10856807-svs-subwoofer-deals-now-live-pb12-nsd-499-99-and-sb12-nsd-399-99-free-shipping

Yes thanks for proving that this was slickdeal weeks ago, almost hit FP, but the PB is currently sold out on SVSound.com. I am glad I found this via WWS with 8% t o p c a s h b a c k, making it $460. And it definitively isn't standard, this is from SVSound:

You asked and we delivered again! Starting today, factory fresh SVS subwoofers hit an all-time low price for an extremely limited time. By popular demand, the ported cabinet PB12-NSD subwoofer is being offered for the first time as an amazing Black Friday special joining the acclaimed SB12-NSD sealed cabinet subwoofer. Both models are legendary for their combination of effortless power and low frequency extension with pinpoint accuracy and control and feature high excursion 12-inch drivers and commanding 400 watts RMS, 800 watts peak power amplifiers. And for a limited time, they're available at nearly half the original price!

The PB-2000 replaced the PB12-NSD in the SVS lineup. In many ways they are nearly the same. PB-2000 got a 100w bump in power and the driver is slightly different. Unless you have a large room, chances are you wouldn't be able to tell the two apart. I know in my 2700 ft^3 room I really couldn't tell the difference in the PB-2000 and PB12-NSD. Unless you are pushing the PB12-NSD to it's absolute limit, the 2-3dB more the PB-2000 has over it will never be used. Also, lower in range the two subs are very close to the same in extension and output. And this lower output is where you usually notice the biggest difference in two subs. You typically will run out of headroom lower in range than higher.

IMO, this is a front page deal. $460 for a 12" ported w/ actual 20hz response.

Great find OP

Great sub for the price, and still available.

If you have Amazon Prime, and Discover, you can get 5% CB on this by purchasing via Amazon instead.

If buying from an authorized dealer like WWS, do u still get 30-45 days risk-free trial? Or is that just from SVS direct?
