Good use of the $5 kindle promo out there.

Is is against the rules for the poster to leave targeted links: smile.amazon urls?
Not trying to target anything, I use smile to donate with my purchases to St Judes, so my bookmark auto goes to smile... If you do not donate then please goto the regular site.

I would really recommend Wolf's Hour (probably my favorite; it is not on sale but still not bad at 6 and change) and the Matthew Corbett series. The first one is not on sale but I picked up the last two in the series today since they are. Normally about $10 a piece. Yes you should probably read them in order but I went right through the series pretty quick...

Great author. I read Baal and Bethanys Sin when I was a kid.

You pick who you donate to... I don't think it defaults to the poster's targeted donation point. I don't know why everyone doesn't use a smile url. What am I missing?

I loved the Michael Gallentin books (Wolf's Hour and the other one) and Swan Song.

I tried reading Boy's Life and I had such a hard time getting thru it. Anyone experience this? Was this a different kind of McCammon book?

Yeah, the first of the Matthew Corbett series "Speaks the Nightbird," was the first of his that I read. Amazing writer. That was the first fiction book I had read since my freshman year at college. Google Play also has Stinger and Gone South.

Read the synopsis, no thanks. The writer sounds like a PC idiot.
It was publish in 1987. Bit before the PC craze.

It is a fun Sci-Fi horror schlock book, would make a fun movie.

Picked up The Border, one of the few of his I haven't read.
