The 10-Piece set is $1 cheaper, which makes this thread a new deal.. Besides, repost does not apply when a thread is inactive for days. In this case, nearly a month.

Says who? Inactivity of a thread does not make a deal dead. Sometimes there just isnt much to say about it.
Like I said, the 10-Piece set is offered $1 cheaper, which makes this thread a new deal. This deal is posted to help some SDers who need one. That's all.

You can ask mods if you are in doubt.

Says the Slickdeals staff. But if you don't believe the OP, then feel free to try to report this as a repost and see what happens.

As explained by the mods to me: If a deal has no new discussion in 7 days, it can be reposted by another member and not be considered a repost.(OP bumps don't count) Doesn't matter if the deal is an ongoing live deal. (SDer bluking does this a lot. Waits for day 7 to post same deal for reps)
This topic was brought up because I posted a deal and 3? days later SD "darling" powerfuldoppler posted the same deal. They FP'd his deal. I questioned the mods move and they said in essence, they FP'd his deal because a lot more people will see it since he had many more followers than I do, therefore more inclined to buy, leading to more affiliate money for SD. They said it doesn't really matter who finds and gets credit for the deal, as long as SD makes the money off of our work of finding and posting a deal.

I heard it was 3 days with no comment.

But either way, this is a good price. I got mine last year when it was 9.99 and 100% back in points.

LMAO more talk about if this should or shouldn't be posted than about the items them self. Are they just dumping their tools on the market cause they are made in china now?

I own the 3/8 version.

The sockets work fine, but the ratchet feels extremely cheap. The switch looks like it could fall off if you looked at it wrong.

For $9 it is a decent starter socket/ratchet set, but if you need to use this more than once a year, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Not sure why anybody would own a tiny socket set like this, unless for one specific job you do every single day. But for the average DIY, spend 30 bucks and buy a real set.

You know why Sears is going down. Its website feels as if written by a school kid from 90's. Not the smart kind.

When I add to carts, login, all my previously items is cart are gone.
