Mainstays, Oil Filled, Electric Radiant Heater, Black $34.94 @ Walmart (free in-store pickup or free ship after $35)

I got the Pelonis White one last year for the same price and have been waiting for the price to come back. I finally saw the black one on sale at Walmart, bought a $5 filler and got free shipping. The $5 filler is the perfect stocking filler for my 4yo son (Uno cards).

These oil-filled heaters all seem to be rebranded, so even though this one says Mainstays, it looks identical to the Pelonis we have.

FYI, I've tried dozens of space heaters. My favorite one, by far, is oil-filled. It's the most uniform radiant heating and dries the air much less than any other type I've used. The only drawback is you don't feel the heat right away, but we plan ahead with these. We fire them up in the bedroom and shut the door, then get ready for bed. By the time we are in bed, it's already started heating things up.

This was FP last year, so hopefully you guys find this useful! Smilie Happy holidays!

These are good because you can put them on a timer. Set them to come on 1 hour before bed or to heat up a bathroom before daily shower. Can't do that with the digital models.

You would be hard pressed to start a fire with an oil filled heater. It doesnt get hot enough on the outside. They are one of the safest space heaters you can get.

Just FYI but search SD for oil filled heater. There are several posts from February for a Pelonis oil filled heater for $15 and $17 at Walmart. Maybe this will do the same. Doesn't help if really need one now of course.
