This has a lot more functionality than the basic Philips wake up light (currently 50$ on amazon). I bought that one and it only had 1 loud beeping alarm, no FM radio, and no ability to change colors. The Philips that would have all the same functionality as this runs about $80 - $110 depending on sales.

However, just to note the Philips went up to 200 lumens which was bright enough to wake me up if I was facing it, but not if I was facing the other way. This light only goes up to 70 lumens.

Looks good for $10, also shows as best seller in category.
If it has 70-80% of functionality of Philips, for about 1/10th of price, then it is good for kids.

Don't know if it's good, but in for one. Just started night shifts at work.
8years ago used to have the one you plug the bedside lamp to. Was about 100$ and ugly. Stopped using it because in hotels they mostly switched to CFL bulbs with no dimming.

Bought one of the Phillips ones for about $75 a few years ago, but it just felt cheap and poorly made. Sent it back.

But for $10, this is worth a try. In for one. Thanks, OP!

Closest you can get is to have your bedroom light turn on during an alarm. Sleep for Android has such a feature to work with Hue for example and it works fine for my needs.

Rep for this great timing. Was looking for something to use as a night light for a baby. Added features (to me) of wake up feature is icing on the cake.
