Sony, Samsung, LG, Vizio 65 inch 4K TV HDR Protection Plans

Hello all that are reading this. I'm looking to purchase a new expensive TV (Most likely Sony 900E). I have talked myself into buying a higher price model instead of a cheap TV with Hopes that it will last year's and give me my money worth.

The reason I'm making this forum is I have been debating on getting a protection plan for which ever TV I decide to get. So just looking to get thoughts on if it is worth it to purchase one.

Bestbuy purchase plan is pretty expensive. Would you recommend that or go through squaretrade and get the extended warranty? What are your thoughts and recommendations? Any and all advice is welcomed!!

I say purchase the TV on a credit card that has extended device protection, and save your money. If the TV doesn't break within two years, than it will likely have a normal life span (assuming you yourself don't fark it up) and you can save some money for something else.

Purchase the Square trade warranty from Costco.com doesn't matter where you buy the TV as long as they are an authorized Sony dealer. Much cheaper that way.
