Xbox One X 1TB Console with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands + $50 Newegg Gift Card $550

This seems like a pretty good deal if you wanted to buy an Xbox One X and also would find good value in a Newegg gift card. The system now retails for about $500 pretty much everywhere, and normally doesn't include a game. This bundle includes a game plus a $50 gift card for $550. So if you wanted to buy anything else from Newegg now or anytime soon, this bundle is effectively $500 for the system plus a game. Better than the retail price you'll find most other places. As of now, this game retails on Amazon for $37.74 new.

I have to say I have an Xbox One X and I'm happy with it. I don't see the prices coming down this Winter. By sometime next year, sure, there will be a price drop. This deal is OK but I don't like that you pay the "extra" $50 and then get it back in a combination of Newegg card & "free" game. I think you might be better-off just getting the console for the straight retail price if you have some other cashback (like RedCard 5% or a BestBuy rewards promo) and get the game yourself or other games when you want.

I don't get how this is a slick deal (maybe for no tax and free game?) It still seems like you are paying retail price and paying for your own gift card.

You're getting a free game with the console for effectively the same $500 price as the console sells for everywhere else without a game- so long as the gift card is as good as cash to you. You can't get the console plus a game for $500 retailing anywhere right now.

This deal isn't for everyone. If you really don't want this game, it may not be worth the hassle to sell it. And if a Newegg gift card isn't as good or nearly as good as cash to you, then it could be a bad deal.

But if you're a regular Newegg shopper and wanted the Xbox One X, this deal is about as good as you'll find as of now. If you wanted this game it's even better.

If you don't have an X and want an X this is probably the best you'll get. It's a tax free (in some places) X with a free game. So you save like 50 to 70 bucks. Not Slick, but probably slickest until next year

It's amazing they are already making deal for a console that launched less than a month ago. Wait till March. It will drop just like the original Xbox one did. Probably $400 or $450 with a game standard.

Wasn't this $500 last time for just the console and this game? Like the day it came out or day after?

Not amazing at all, it was part of their launch strategy. Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas... You only think you're getting a deal, they're getting what they wanted @ launch all along.

That being said, I'm in the market for one but I'm waiting for a bundle that comes with 2 games (good games or choice of good games). I have no problem waiting it out but I'd like sooner rather than later.

Xbox One X plus call of duty ww2 and battlefront star wars 2 for $550. To be honest, between the two bundles, I'd probably get this one, because I actually want these games. But imo it's less of a slickdeal.

If you can get it tax free this is a fair deal. The game was $20 on bf if I remember correctly and I'm sure you could get it used on eBay or elsewhere for about $20.

If you have Target Redcard the 5% back would take care of most of the tax. Then you could get whatever game you wanted and not be left holding a $50 Newegg gift card.

Yeah I saw that one. Probably would've went for it if it was $500, or came with an extra controller. Wasn't sweet enough as it stood though.

I think your comment sums this up perfectly. I'm sure this is a fun game, but it's been out for several months, so it's no big score. Too bad the Newegg card can't be used on this purchase! Then it would be hard for me to pass up.

I have been keeping my eyes open for a deal, and I do think this is about the best deal we'll see in the near future... Especially without sales tax, for those where that's possible.

Hardly. Similar but MUCH worse deals the xmas that ps4 and xb1 dropped and every retailer tried to force buyers into bundles with added controller + 2 games, and most were at full retail for every item, some were even above..

The xbox x has a 1tb drive which is a deal breaker for me. Games in 4k need much more storage than your average games. The reason xbox x didnt come with in a 2tb version is because it would be too expensive for the regular consumer and it would be a more strategic marketing later in the game and entice consumers for another upgrade. On the other hand, you can change the hard drive but will void the warranty.
