4K should make it easier to tell who shot first.

Alternatively, you could jump on the Star Wars bundle on iTunes if it goes on sale. Right now it's $99. Might not have all the special features, etc but Apple has already said they'll automatically upgrade all "HD" films to 4K for free!

That said, this BB bundle is the lower than the historically lowest price on Amazon

If it doesn't include the Christmas Special is it even worth it at this point?

Anyone know what's the difference between the set on sale and this one that's $119.99?

Wrong product maybe for the 9 disc set? Cause amazon shows a different picture. https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-...B005HNV2OS

Anyone know if there will be 4K versions? I have the feeling we will see a big sale followed by an announcement of 4K so people can re buy them.

I've only ever seen rumors. As far as I know, nothing official has been announced by Disney on a 4k release

Yeah, I normally go digital but Star Wars is just one of those sets I want a physical copy of!

If they go 4K, they're gonna have to touch up the special edition CGI textures. Let's hope they fix the "who shot first" garbage while they're at it!

$99 for future free 4K upgrade is just crazy even for 6 episodes. I'm sure it will be discounted when it is released. A lot of us got 1-6 Bluray for $25 just recently.
