Just an FYI - someone created a thread on Reddit as a PSA stating that this is actually a TN panel. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...ahva_144hz

Woah. This is an IPS panel. Idk why they aren't advertising it, but AHVA is the gaming version of IPS. This is an absolutely insane deal. I don't understand how this isn't like front page given that they have a pixel perfect guarantee.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on this as a 2nd monitor for my gaming rig to pair with that 2k BENQ IPS monitor. Perhaps use this strickly for when I game and leave the BENQ for video editing duties. Since 144hz vs 60hz.......

AHVA, higher contrast(deeper blacks) worse colors(still better than TN) vs IPS. Also no purple ips glow to worry about. Just wish vega wasnt $500+, im "stuck" with a gtx 1070 i bought for $330 due to all these miners, i cant switch sides if i wanted to.

The 1070 will still power this monitor just fine. I use an Acer 144hz freesync monitor with my 1070 and it's great even without adaptive sync technology. I typically hit over 100 fps in everything I play, so I don't experience any tearing.

Looks really nice, it's got exactly what I want minus 27". The resolution, refresh and IPS are nice to have all of, best combo along with perhaps ultrawide but that's a huge price jump
