Cannot find anywhere the speed of the drive. I assume 5400 since they hide it.

$20 per TB is not too shabby, right?

This drive comes in 6TB and 8TB flavors. I have found a few people have opened the 8TB and found the following drive. Seagate Archive HDD v2 ST8000AS0002 8TB 5900 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive.

$20 / TB is my threshold for a decent mass storage deal.

In addition, I like the two USB ports on the drive enclosure since that allows me to easily plug in flash drives and other USB peripherals to my desktop that is sitting under the desk.

Damn, your standards are high. More power to you. But where do you find deals for under $20 per TB, bar Craigslist?

Going below this threshold generally requires third party savings such as Visa checkout discounts or CC associated rewards, discounts.
