It's 24.99 at GameStop too

Was 19.99 on Black Friday deal, but 25$ is still a good pickup for this.

Hey it's you again! Remember when the switch was launched in March and you and I were back and forth on a thread on here and you were predicting it to be a big flop? I remember. I said let's check back come Holiday 2017 to see how the Switch is doing. Well as an update my NTDOY stock has doubled and here is a little tidbit from Time, "The Switch became the fastest-selling console in Nintendo's history just about a month after it launched, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. Nintendo's flagship console was the number one selling video game hardware device in October, according to new figures from NPD Group, a market research firm that tracks U.S. video game sales."

Time to retire your crystal ball.

We already had Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Mario Rabbids, and Arms early on in release of the Switch. More recently we have gotten Super Mario Odyssey, Snipper Clips expanded release, and Xennoblade Chronicles 2 just dropped a few days ago. I have hardly touched my XBox one / PS4 since the Switch was released because the Switch has killed it so far this year. I put nearly 100 hours into Zelda, 150+ into Splatoon 2, 40+ into Mario Odyssey...now I have to lose another chunk of my life to Xenoblade 2. Personally, I would prefer to ask Nintendo to slow things down because I can't keep up with releases.

How good is this game on the Switch? Would you recommend this for casual retro gamer?

Also would you recommend this game for Zelda/Link, resident evil, and final fantasy gamer?

The Zelda game is pretty intense and will provided you with hours and hours of play. My wife has about 350 hours into Breath of the Wild alone... She loves it.

It's as good as any other version of the game. It's old school, hard platforming.

I wouldn't recommend it to fans of those games, as this is a platformer and those are rpg/survival horror games. If you like Mario, Donkey Kong Country, and other old school platformers, then yes I would recommend it.

I understand. My wife is like that too BUT how does that compare to Rayman Legend on the Switch? I ask because I plan to get my wife a Nintendo Switch. She really wants one to play and her siblings already have one so yeah. breath of wild wind is good but I'm looking to pick up another game hence my question

The digital copy was on sale through the Nintento eShop yesterday for $27.99 iirc. Prices seem to be different when viewing the store on switch compared with PC.

For casual retro I would strongly recommend Stardew Valley in the eShop. $15 price tag and it's quickly becoming my most played game on switch.
