One ticket per month...this would normally have seemed like a good deal, but when you compare to Moviepass, not so much.

One ticket a month? Our cinemark theater tickets only cost $4 so this isn't a very good deal at all even with a concession discount.

While this is not a hot deal, at least it shows that movie theaters are going in the right direction. Moviepass is helping to make that change. This certainly shows how Moviepass will get squeezed out of business eventually.

20% off $8 popcorn is still not a good deal.

"Reserve seats online or in our app with no fees."

If you buy a Cinemark gift card for a dollar and use that, there are no fees anyway.

I honestly can't believe that Cinemark will try to offer such an uncompetitive product compared to MoviePass, which allows 1 movie a day instead of 1 movie a month.

The next iteration of Cinemark will be 1 large popcorn a month for $3.00.

Even if they would have said 8.99 for one movie(Any 2D, 3D, Dbox, 4D, XD per month is somewhat reasonable to attract non-movie pass people out there. but for 2D its insane. its not even comparable with sinemia which does not restricts for showings.

I applaud the effort to at least introduce something, but this is such a weak attempt. It's hard to think of a less competitive offer.

Make it 30% on additional tickets and concessions plus the free once a month and I will think about it, I like the recliners and cant reserve good seats at the time I like to go with moviepass ☹

add free large pizza, medium popcorn, large drink and free Uber pick up.
I would think about it.

Man, I saw the Cinemark CEO on CNBC yesterday trying to talk up this deal and he was squirming. The hosts kept mentioning the Cinemark deal was one per month and another company (Moviepass) was 1 movie per day. The best CEOs are the most artful liars, I guess. This guy wasn't very good.
