Qualcomm Quick Charge not supported

There is another possibly significant difference.

The II has PowerIQ 2.0 and is "compatible" with QuickCharge whereas the older version explicitly has QC 3.0.

There is no way to know how PowerIQ 2.0 compares with QC 3.0. How can anyone be sure the II will charge a QC 3.0 device as fast as the older model? It's worth noting that the Power IQ car charger description explicitly says "Does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge" so PowerIQ does not equal QC and the "new" power bank might be a crap shoot.

About to check out. Why shouldn't I buy this? Am I missing something newer chargers have?

I have the Note 8.

Edit: I ended up with the Anker PowerCore II 10000, paying a few dollars more.. it was only $22 according to camelcamelcamel so if you can wait, go for that.. otherwise I think the Anker PowerCore II is diffidently worth the few extra dollars compared to the wireless charger shown here.

I only took a quick glance, but it looks like the main difference is the input power. The II can fast charge on the input side (5-9V @ 2A), where the older one is only 5V @ 2A. I don't need this, but if I was to buy, that would be enough reason to spend the extra $5.

$22.65 would have been a great deal for the II.

Get one with QC on the input side. I don't believe this on does. It makes a huge difference when you forget to charge it up the night before.
