This model is more of barebones fitness watch. No HR monitor, no smart alerts.

I am not sure why these vivo fits aren't more popular...Even though they state the battery lasts one year, the original one in my 1st generation vivo fit lasted 18 months and the friends that have these (both first and second generation versions) have batteries that lasted just as long...

This sure beats the heck of out charging a device every 5-8 days which is pretty much every fitness tracker out there....

Most of the people usually buy a fitbit just because everyone else has them....

Back when the first generation version Vivo Fits were out, all comparable products pretty much only tracked steps and calories (no heart rate, gps, or syncing with phones) and still the other competitors still needed to be charged once a week. Now, if you want GPS/heart rate/syncing with phone, pretty much all of the devices, even other garmins, need to be charged around every 5-8 days...

Why looks sexy, but I know it will look black after a week. Lol. Bought the black one.

Love it, been wearing one over a year and no battery to charge! All the ones I have to charge end up in a draw. No heart monitor but syncs well with app and gives good data on activity and sleep. Grabbing one to keep on hold until mine dies out.

Is it submersible? Not just splash proof, but full on swimming.

The specs says it does monitor heart rate...

There is no heart rate monitor. You are able to pair it with a separate heart rate monitor though. This is a pretty thick band considering there isn't a heart monitor built-in.

Agreed, I did buy one black friday, wearing it now. Battery life is #1 on my list, but I do miss the notifications. And to confirm, it does NOT have HR, but waterproof to 50m...

How do you know what size or color your getting? I have one and love it, better than fitbit. I would like to get one for my mom I have also asked the question to the site as well.
