Regular price for these. Good for starter but specs aren't something i would jump all over it.
This model by Segway is normally $599. I wouldn't say regular price but this is lowest price ever.

Regular price? You sure? I'm showing this at $300 is considerably below average. Pre-owned sells for $350+ on eBay as well.

This was 599 a few months ago, picked it up at 500 back then. This is considered really cheap and lowest price I've seen

How difficult was it to pick up? All the instructions really make it clear that this one is a tough one to ride.

Very hard. You need to practice daily and get used to it, don't expect to pick it up in a few days, unless you're experienced with boards. I never had time to use or practice so I just left it sitting there lol

I saw a dude walking his dog with one of these and he made it look easy... I bet it's a pita though.

I take the back, I think the guy had a swagtron... That one is this price and seems like a better design... I truthfully have no idea though. This is one step closer to the humans from pixars wally. I'll take my steps please Smilie

My commute is ~5 miles one way. Takes about 15 minutes by car, about 20 minutes by bike. I figure this would take about the same as biking. Would like an electric bike, but this looks like a feasible alternative. Thanks for posting!
