Under specifications it states:
Hard drive
1 TB 7200 rpm SATA
256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
1 TB 7200 rpm SATA; 128 GB SSD

You can choose to customize:
1 TB 7200 rpm SATAIncluded in price
256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD+$130.00
1 TB 7200 rpm SATA; 128 GB SSD+$190.00

When you plug in the Product number from the link
Product #2GJ44AV
into HP support you get this
https://support.hp.com/us-en/prod...ku=2GJ44AV

and under maintenance user guide for the 15t-aq200 cto
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05747649

on page 46 it states for SSD options:

256-MB, M.2 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive for use only on computer models with model number 15-
aq2XX

128-MB, M.2 2280, SATA-3, solid-state drive with TLC for use only on computer models with model
number 15-aq2XX

256-MB, M.2 2280, solid-state drive with TLC for use on all computer models

128-MB, M.2 2280, SATA-3, solid-state drive for use only on computer models with model number m6-
aq1XX

AFAIK, both M.2 NVMe and SATA-3 SSD's fit under the battery. I would like to know if HP's laptops still come with the SSD connector under the battery if I just order the cheapest 1tb 7200 SATA HD, so I can add my own SSD.
Both an Envy and Pavillion from Costco did not have the connector, despite the maintenance user guide and tel support stating they would.

When I signed up for EPP the price jumps from 729 to 758. What am I doing wrong?
