What is up with this new line crap? T-Mobile had the same deal and we didn't get it because we didn't need a new line and figured we'd probably be paying the same in the long run.

Not true, you only keep the new line (which for me came out to about $30 a month more) until you get the rebate which took 2 months. When all was said and done I essentially ended up with a free S8+. Sure there was a little leg word but easily worth it.

Any idea how much this would cost you out the door for 2 note 8's, then how much a month just one standard unlimited line would cost? Been thinking about switching off Verizon and been wanting an unlocked note 8 but this could be next best deal for me.

I'm not sure as the deal I did was the T-Mobile BOGO via Costso. I was merely trying to point out that if you're willing to jump through a few hoops, in this case selling one of the phones and keeping an extra line open until you get your visa gift card, this can be anywhere from a great deal to an amazing deal!

If it helps I want to say my out of pocket cost was around $1700 which included tax on the phones and the new line cost for 2 months. That was for S8+'s though, the Note 8's are obviously more expensive. Between selling one phone, the Costco cash card for each phone and the BOGO rebate I got 95% of that back though. This isn't the same exact deal but there's plenty of value to be had here!

Can I just close an existing line and open a new line 2, 3 days later (with the new number) with this deal?
Any problem with doing this?

Can the new line be added to a ATT family next plan? And what the cost for the new line would be? Never done this before.

Looks good to investors and hurts the competitors.
