I bought one of these 20 years ago and it's still the pan I use more than any other. Heats evenly. Lasts forever. Cleans with soap or dishwasher safe. For stubborn baked-on stuff, Bar Keeper's Friend is your friend, too.

Great price. I grabbed it at this price from Macy's last month. Lowest I've seen it based on Amazon price history.

I wouldn't really bother with pricy no sticks but that 12 inch fry pan with lid is a solid price.

True, we use T Fal that we bought for $24 and its lasted us a good 3 years so far with no scratches. It's hard to justify expensive non stick since you have to throw them away once the coating is damaged.

Not for a saute pan. It's 3 quart because it's wide bottommed but short.

3-qt sauce pan is the same interior cooking surface of the 12" fry pan. I have the 3-qt and I was worried it was small also, but I believe it's just right if the 12" fry pan is the right size for you. I cook for 4 in a 12" all-clad and now the 3-qt sauté.
