Just wondering everyone's opinion on these. My use will be mainly internet browsing, and some light photo/video editing. No gaming. Seems like either would work just fine for me. Mostly I'm wondering if the A517-51-568Y will need a memory upgrade and ssd within the next 3-5 years, and even though the E5-553G-F8EF has an older slower processor, if it will perform similarly due to the ssd and higher memory and dedicated graphics card. I can get either laptop for the same number of points through a rewards program at my work. I currently have a super old lenovo t61 with 3g ram, core 2 duo at 2.4ghz...so I know either laptop will be lightning fast compared to what I currently have.

Main differences and pros/cons I found:
A517-51-568Y model NX.GSWAA.001

-has the newest 8th gen. i5 processor i5-8250U quad-core, 6mb cache, 1.6ghz-3.4ghz
-larger 17" screen, but lower 1600 x 900 resolution
-8gb ram (ddr4, 4gb + 4gb soldered)
-integrated graphics card
-single, 1tb 5400rpm drive

-E5-553G-F8EF model NX.GMTAA.001

or

or

-older AMD FX-9800P processor, 2.7ghz-3.6ghz, only 2mb cache
-smaller 15" screen, but higher res. at 1920 x 1080
-double the ddr4 memory, 16gb ram (32gb max)
-2gb dedicated graphics card
-has 1tb 5400rpm hdd, and an additional 128gb ssd
-has a mu-mimo wireless card

Both have similar usb ports, and close enough batteries. I'm mostly curious if it's more advantageous to have the newest processor available, or if the older one is ok due to the other advantages the older laptop has vs the newer laptop. (more memory, dedicated graphics card, ssd)

Thanks for your time and input.
