shop your way members WILL earn $10 on this purchase as long as you pay out of pocket above $40...

Also the 32 piece set [sears.com] is 79.99. Put in a cheap filler to get it above $80 and get $20 back in points (offer is 10 back for every 40 spent OUT OF POCKET). This set is also not a hot buy so if you have say a 15 off 75 coupon that would work and you would still get $10 back in points. Not the greatest deal they have had on these, but probably the best deal you will find now or in the future with the changes in how points / free cash / coupons can be used and stacked now

Awesome deal. Looks like these are the older style ratchet wrenches. The new ones have a little lever to switch the mechanism back and forth
These aren't the old style, those with the "switch mechanism back and forth" are actually called reversible and every brand has them ....

There are also flex heads type, and flex heads locking reversible, etc.

They also cost a lot more ...

You definitely want the reversible style. The head of the wrench is offset (at an angle) from the handle. The regular style wrenches (above) are a pain in the keester because if you have more than one bolt on a surface, the swing of the wrench will hit the other bolt, whereas the reversibles have the head at an angle from the handle (just enough so that you can swing the ratchet wrench without hitting other bolts or protrusions on the surface of whatever you are working on. Trust me, you'll realize that you want the reversible style!

Came in to say exactly this. The flat reversible wrenches are a pain in the ass. You don't realize how much you need that angle until it's gone.

I love my reversible sets too, but those cost significantly more than the ones in this deal. For the value and functionality that this set provides, this is a good deal compared to the reversible ones.

I paid this much for my flex head ones... I would also like to recommend the lever style. I once loosened a bolt on my car in a tight spot.... Unfortunately, there wasn't enough clearance to pull it out with the wrench on it but by the time I figured that out I couldn't get my wrench off it and I couldn't tighten the bolt back down to remove it either. That was a bitch.

If you somehow got a 20 piece set of flex heads for $45, that was a great deal. The reversible sets and flex sets typically go on sale for $30-$40 for 7 or 8 piece sets.

I bet that backing out a bolt too far with a non-reversible wrench is a mistake that you'll only make once.

I ordered a 44 piece set without the ratcheting feature from amazon for $160. I know that is a lot more than this one but it's a full set. Do you think that's a good deal? It's on backorder right now from amazon. I still need to find a wrench roll to store them because it doesn't come with anything. Here it is. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00H2W7LVK

I know this is only a 14 piece set, but how is it for $45? It is a reversible set, is why I ask

I think it is. I was in Sears last night and they were selling the 9/16 size for 24.99 alone.
