I was intrigued by the term NAS used in the drives name. This article may help understand the evolution in the HDD nomenclature.

Weather is Fry's or Newegg it's been the same deal and taxes for those in California. I wish this was on sale somewhere that didn't collect taxes for California residents. Unfortunately discover price protection doesn't cover hard drives...

never heard of this site. Probably not worth saving about ten bucks when you deal with a site like this. I meant a reliable site.

Problem is that if you are in a large state, the e-tailer will need to set up distribution / warehousing to save on shipping distance and time. Once they have physical presence in the state, they have to collect sales taxes.

I have saved a few bucks buying digital cameras from them in the past. However, they don't overlap much with Newegg, Frys or Amazon in several merchandise categories. I suspect if they started getting big, they will be forced by the State agencies to start charging sales tax as well.

Just because you're a noob, and can't be bothered use a search engine doesn't mean macsales isn't reputable. I've been buying equipment and Macs since the early 1990s when they were Other World Computing.

Congrats on showing the world your intelligence.

STFU, you sound like such a geek here. No one cares what you bought from this no name site. I will stick with reputable sites, thanks for your concern, dick.
