DROP CAM (Nest Cam DROPCAM) REFURB lowest price ever $55.99 Microcenter, in store only, limited stock, YMMV

These are the lower def version of the Dropcam HD, which was bought by Nest and is currently sold as the Nest cam. It's compatible with the Nest ecosystem. I've got 6 of the HD cams, but picked up 4 more of these to use in my shed and garage.

The monitoring service can get a little pricey, but there are workarounds, and these work very well without archiving to keep an eye on kids and dogs when you're not home.

I had to log in and select my store, but their stock checker is very inaccurate. They'll often show 2 or 3 in stock, and when I get there there's an endcap with 300 units for sale. If the computer shows "in stock," you can reserve them for pickup, but if it shows "out of stock" it might be worth a phone call or visit to make sure. I was heading there for one of the Garmin scales that came up on SD recently, and figured I'd check to see about these, because Microcenter always had the best price, but have been sold out for months.

No. This is the Dropcam HD, this is the one they were handing out to people who had the older one.

That said I'm still not sure I'd suggest it. The amazon cloud cam is probably a better deal when you consider the subscription. That and the Nest Cam provides better picture quality too.
