Not sure if you bought yours online, but, In my experience, it's pretty rare for a guitar to be exactly right if i bought it online. But usually with a bit of time to adjust to humidity and a new set of strings, most issues are worked out. Sometimes I have to do some truss rod adjustments or intonation changes and in some cases, replace the nut, but I can usually get a guitar working. If you don't want to do that kind of work in your guitar, you should figure I the 50 or so bucks to get a setup (depending on where you go) and make sure it's still worth buying it online.

Wow, nice find, OP.

Great guitar. Hate the fat bigsby on it, tho. I have a Gretsch jet club and it is an amazing guitar for the price. I highly recommend Gretsches.

Mine buzzes and rattles. I'm thinking about sending it back.

It probably just needs a good setup, neck may need to be adjusted and action.

Basically the same design, I'm sure his was top of the line series. I'm still not sure the sound engineer's ever put his guitar in the mix while on stage. Tells you alot about the player, not the guitar.
