Sears.com [sears.com] has the Craftsman 1/2" Drive Digi-Click Torque Wrench for $55 with $10 in points and (YMMV) in my case $6 off the top.

I already own this wrench and can say it's pretty good. Rated for up to 250 ft lbs!

Picked one of these up on BF for $55 also, wish it came with real lid.

How long have you had yours? My concern is when the lcd screen eventually goes out, is the torque wrench still useable?

Yep, valid concern. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's done for once the screen goes out. I've only had mine for a few months, so not sure how long it'll end up lasting.

In my case it was well worth it because I needed a torque wrench to tighten down my new wheel hubs. It's pretty tough to find a torque wrench that can go over 150 ft. lbs. for under $100. Even the auto part stores in town couldn't go over 150 ft lbs, which was surprising.

nothing says we stand by our product like NO MORE LIFETIME but we'll give you 90 days in which you probably wont even use it by then since you just bought it cause it was on sale so by the time you go 2 use it - it's already passed the 90 days and your SOL

truth to be told, torque wrench need to be calibrated. no torque wrench brand that i know can give you lifetime warranty.
that includes snap on 2000 dollar torque wrenches. they only carry no more than 1 year warranty.

here is the wording

· For SNAP-ON® brand torque wrenches and BLUE-POINT® brand meters and power tools, and for all other SNAP-ON® brand and BLUE-POINT® products not specifically mentioned above, the duration of the warranty period is supplied with the product, but in no event is the warranty period for more than one year from the date of the original purchase.

so know your stuff before you post, otherwise you just sound like a troll.

Harbor freight does lifetime warranty. If it ever stops working just bring it in. But then again it is harbor freight tools
