URL failed because Costco's site was down.

Are you sure you bought a KitchenAid 6-quart Professional Bowl-lift Stand Mixer from BB for $199? Can you produce a receipt to back your claim??

It's not the 6 quart, Best Buy had the pro 500 series 5 quart. Now is the 6 quart better than the pro 500 5 quart

The 6-quart pro version is way better. Apart from the bigger bowl size (6 quarts vs. 5 quarts), the motor speed is also far better (590 watts vs. 450 watts). HTH.

I just bought the KP26M1 from Bed bath and beyond on Black Friday for $280. Has a 575 watt motor. Just arrived today. Should I return and get the Costco one?

$30 is a nice savings but even more important is Costco's incredible return policy... I'd get mine at Costco and save $30

I actually did get it. I called up Kitchenaid to confirm that this is a Pro 600 model, even with the 590 watt motor, that was made specific for Costco.

The better version is actually the 6000 HD version with the DC motor rated 1HP (not in Watts)
https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid...B00PZU3AEI

It goes on sale every Thanksgiving for ~250-275

That's true but I'm told that none of the other Kitchenaid bowls or accessories will fit it plus its not on sale now.

Not sure it really matters, you'd burn out a worm gear before you'd use the power in most cases. When would you be able to use the power?
